A recent image of the Sirius region shows that a Type III civilisation has been busy over the last few months (well over the last few months some 9 years ago anyway).  A Julia-set Dyson sphere made in some unknown material has appeared around our brightest star.  Soon Sirius will no longer be our brightest star as the alien civilisation starts extracting the power of this natural fusion reactor for their own purposes.
